We develop our own proprietary software solutions and innovate with cutting edge technologies including virtual and augmented reality, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, automation and simulation.

Priority development areas include advanced planning, materials tracking, reality capture, visualisation, robotics and data driven insights.

We currently have 137 digital innovations progressing through a rigorous assessment and development process, from ideation to implementation. Of these innovations, 34% reached implementation milestones in 2023. CIMIC Group has developed eight proprietary software solutions, now in use across the Group. Five of these are made available to industry through IDD Tech, our commercial software business:
