Global mining services provider Thiess has been awarded a three-year contract extension, with a three-year extension option, with QCoal at its Northern Hub operation in Queensland, Australia.
With revenue of $A590 million over three years, this contract sees Thiess continuing to provide full mining services at QCoal’s Northern Hub, including statutory control of the site, all mining activities, maintenance and asset management, and rehabilitation works.
Thiess Executive Chair and CEO Michael Wright said: “Thiess is proud to continue our work with QCoal at their Northern Hub operation, extending our long term relationship focussed on providing safe and efficient mining operations, and progressive rehabilitation.”
