Commitment to a strong safety culture recognised
Following the 2016 IFAP/CGU Safe Way Achiever Awards held in Perth, Broad’s Western Australian operation is pleased to announce the presentation of a Gold Achiever award.
The assessment involved a review of our established safety management system, procedures and training and evaluation of our continual improvement processes.
Now in its 37th year, the Safe Way Awards commenced in 1979 as part of IFAP’s contribution to Western Australia’s proactive approach to safety in the workplace.
At Broad, safety is fundamental to our business. For over two decades, we’ve fostered a culture that lives and breathes safety and well-being. It is a culture that not only helps us to keep our people safe and well, but one that adds value and improvement to our safety and performance outcomes.
Working collaboratively with our clients and subcontractors has enabled this culture to be promoted beyond the Broad team, and has ultimately improved (and continues to improve) our SHE performance.
This is the first year Broad has entered into the IFAP/CGU award program and we are pleased to have been awarded such high acclaim.
