Leighton Asia led a delegation of the Hong Kong Construction Association Young Members Society (HKCA YMS) in Germany, to learn from and share experiences with local construction professionals.
Marco Tang, an engineer, was Leighton Asia’s representative in the delegation. The delegates visited infrastructure projects such as the Bad Cannstatt Tunnel and the P-Option project, which are part of the Stuttgart rail expansion, one of the longest rail projects in the world, in which HOCHTIEF is significantly involved as part of a joint venture. They also met with representatives from local construction companies and young industry professionals.
“I am honoured to have this valuable opportunity to learn about construction methodologies, technologies and project management," said Marco. “It was great to have insightful conversations with local industry leaders, young professionals and other delegates, with the support of the company.”
Young talent is the future for our industry and communities, and we’re pleased to invest in their future.
