Our project team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia celebrated the auspicious Lunar New Year with a Yee Sang ceremony.
Following the ‘higher the toss, the greater the fortune’ belief, the team had a traditional ‘Lo Hei’ ritual by tossing of Yee Sang high into the air with enthusiasm and cheering ‘Heng ah! Huat ah! Ong ah!’ , to wish for prosperity, good fortune and harmonious year ahead. It also reinforces the importance of togetherness, goodwill, and positive energy in Malaysian culture.
It is a beautiful reminder of the power of tradition and the importance of coming together to support one another in ‘One Leighton Asia Team’.
