The team of Andrew Harrington, Tarek Frakhredine, Shankar Acharya, and David McFadden are worthy winners of the Very Best Award for innovation after their efficient implementation of ArcGIS and Survey 123.
The system allows us to capture contractor pre-safety checks across the east coast and display the data in real-time on an ArcGIS operational dashboard.
“The tool was quick to implement and has delivered significant benefit to our business as we no longer have to rely on paper records, which enhances accuracy and saves time,” says Stefan Green who nominated the team and leads UGL’s Innovation Council.
“It gives us real-time locations, live safety data, and the number of employees, including sub-contractors at any given time ensuring safety across the business. The tool is transferable and can be utilised by other projects within UGL.”
