The recent opening of UGL’s new Bayswater mining component overhaul centre highlights UGL’s commitment to supporting Western Australian mining companies.
700 metres up the road from UGL’s existing Bassendean facility, the new Bayswater site will support the growing demand for UGL overhauled components utilised in off-highway vehicles (OHVs). The team delivers both repair and return along with service exchange overhaul options, undertaking mechanical and electrical repairs, making the Bayswater facility a one-stop-shop provider for mining component overhauls.
As part of the official opening of the new facility, UGL welcomed a range of customers, suppliers, partners, and government officials which included Dave Kelly, State MLA, MP Bassendean and Hon. Bill Johnston, MLA, Member for Cannington.
Following a Welcome to Country, the guests toured the facility to meet the team and see firsthand, the extent of works undertaken by UGL to ensure overhauled components meet their full life-cycle expectations.
Michael Doody-Burras, UGL Business Development Manager, is proud of the work the team provides to their clients and community: “The open day was a great opportunity to meet our fantastic team and see the work UGL is doing to assist manufacturing and maintenance in Western Australia.”
Working with some of the most important companies and governments in Australia, UGL keeps Australia moving through its specialist end-to-end engineering, services, and operations.
