Auckland One Rail
In early 2022, UGL began managing the operations of the Auckland Metro Rail Network in New Zealand through Auckland One Rail, a 50:50 joint equity partnership between UGL and ComfortDelGro Transit.
Together, UGL and ComfortDelGro Transit have an impressive track record that includes:
- serving over 640 million metro rail passenger’s journeys
- managing 285 stations across rail networks in Singapore and Australia.
The franchise encompasses the introduction of innovative services for the residents of Auckland, made possible by the City Rail Link (CRL) project, which is scheduled for completion in 2024.
